the days you weren’t here beside me

the days your arms didn’t roam around me

the days you didn’t dine with me

the days you didn’t laugh along me

those days, were dark and grey like they’re coming to me as i’m their prey

the nights, were cold sun didn’t show no hand to hold

only clouds, seen around with thick, dark fog settling down

the days, that i wish never echo the brumous days that were no mellow
